The traditional English Trifle, the perfect end to your holiday dinner, is composed of layers of winter fruits such as plums, apples, figs, pears and dried apricots, cake, cream and rum. Pair the trifle with a standing rib roast, English cheeses, root vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and don’t forget another English tradition, bangers.
