And The Wedding Color Of This Year Is…
Yesterday, Pantone announced that radiant orchid is the official color of the year for 2014, and we’re predicting it’s going to be a hot color for weddings too! Radiant orchid is a cross between purple and pink (which makes it perfect if you love both colors and just can’t decide). Like emerald, which was last year’s color of the year, this saturated hue is a rich jewel tone, but that doesn’t mean it’s only for fall and winter weddings. If you love bright colors then pair radiant orchid with teal or go simple and combine it with white for a fresh spring or summer palette! Moth and dendrobium orchids grow naturally in this modern color, so use them in your centerpieces and bouquet layered with other shades of purple and pink for eye-catching floral arrangements.
