For more than 50 years the safety of our team, clients, guests, and food has been our number one priority. We are acutely aware of the evolving situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and are taking steps to stay true to our commitment to safety. While we are hopeful the impact on the US will remain minimal, we want all of our partners to know we are planning for every possibility.
We are engaging daily with our peers at the Leading Caterers of America, the International Live Events Association, and the International Caterers Association to assess the risk and develop best practices for live events, as well as closely following guidance from health and governmental agencies.
At Butler’s Pantry, we already have very strict food safety and preparation standards that we adhere to every day. These include frequent handwashing and sanitizing surfaces.
We are immediately initiating these protocols to ensure that all our food we prepare and small gatherings are safe:
- Enforcing a zero-tolerance sick policy
- Restricting access to production areas
- Requiring mandatory work breaks for handwashing
- Requiring mandatory work breaks for cleaning and sanitizing
- Increasing the number of times for cleaning and sanitizing of public spaces
- Supporting our team in responsibly caring for themselves
- Closely monitoring daily updates about health information and recommendations
We hope these additional precautions provide peace of mind as we all navigate this unprecedented time.
If you have questions about our production process or if you need to postpone your event, we want to help you make the best decision for you and your guests. Please don’t hesitate to contact our team.
