It is easy to fall into the cycle of making New Year’s Resolutions around health and fitness at the beginning of a new year. We spend weeks celebrating the holidays with food and drink, then all of a sudden we are bombarded with advertisements for stationary bikes, dieting apps, and juices that promise to “detox”. Rather than feeling guilty about the food and fun surrounding the holidays, I encourage you to make healthful, positive goals that do not come from guilt or negative self-talk. Positive health goals could be to increase family meals, to take more walks, or to eat more vegetables. Reflect on the real changes that you would like to make to your daily habits and lifestyle. Every day is a new opportunity to re-focus on our goals and to remind ourselves why we want to make changes in the first place.
At Butler’s Pantry, it is our mission to provide QUALITY moments for our clients and their guests — through our service, culinary offerings, products, people, relationships and culture. To further this mission, we’ll be focusing on new ways to incorporate technology to advance our services. For us, that means getting acquainted with catering software to help us better communicate recipes, ingredients, and client preferences across all of our teams — from sales to culinary. What does this mean for you? Essentially, no matter the resolution, Butler’s Pantry can give you the support you need to gain back more time. More time with loved ones, more time to travel, more time for yourself.
So, Happy New Year and I wish you all the best during this time of self-reflection and goal setting. If there’s any way Butler’s Pantry can help you maintain your resolutions this year, we would be delighted.
Cheers!
