Small Circle Recipes and Feast Magazine has developed a new cookbook, Extra Helping, featuring recipes from chefs, bakers, bartenders and creators all around the region including restaurants and establishments. Those featured include Butler’s Pantry, Indo, Nathaniel Reid Bakery, Olive + Oak and Sardella. While many of us have been spending time in the kitchen, this is the perfect cookbook for new recipes and dishes. Not to mention, the proceeds of the cookbook is an easy way to support your favorite restaurants, bars and establishments in the hospitality industry. All donations will go to the Chef Collective KC and Gateway Resilience Fund, two organizations supporting hospitality employees affected by COVID-19.
The cookbook can be purchased here! Our recipe is on page 88 featuring a St. Louis favorite – gooey butter cake. But, this one has delicious caramel swirled in.
