The Convention & Visitors Commission honored the 2012 class of Hospitality Heroes yesterday at the Annual awards luncheon at America’s Center. Our own Tim Zingrich was honored for his commitment to service.
This is the experience that earned Tim the title of “Hospitality Hero”:
Tim worked diligently to return a lost wallet to a guest that had Sunday Brunch at Café Madeleine in the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park. Calling the phone number from the reservation log for the guests that had been seated in the location that the wallet was found, Tim didn’t receive an answer the first or second time, but he continued calling and leaving messages to try to connect with the diners. Once the connection was made, Tim used his personal time to meet the guests and return the wallet, all in a timely fashion since the owner was leaving on an airline flight.
Thank you Tim for 16 plus years of dedicated service. We are blessed that you have chosen to use your talents at Butler’s Pantry!
