Bixby’s Supports Houston Hurricane Relief

Bixby’s, the award-winning restaurant located on the second floor of the Missouri History Museum, helps restore the lives of those affected by Hurricane Harvey by donating 10% of sales to the Houston Community Foundation Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund. September 5-10, dine at Bixby’s and a portion of your lunch purchase will support those in need.

“The devastation that has occurred because of Hurricane Harvey is heartbreaking,” said President of Butler’s Pantry, Richard Nix, Jr. “We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and believe in the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, operated by the Houston Community Foundation, as they are located in the heart of the disaster area and have been on the ground assisting residents for the duration of the crisis. It’s important that we band together during this time to support those in need. We’re honored to be a part of the effort.”

 The Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund was founded after the mayor of Houston, Sylvester Turner, received an overwhelming number of inquiries from citizens and companies who wanted to give back. Housed at the Greater Houston Community Foundation, the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund will provide relief to survivors in the form of emergency supplies and services such as food, water, medicine and eventually recovery assistance as people begin to rebuild their lives.

Make your lunch reservation today to support Bixby’s donation efforts. Guests can enjoy dishes from the restaurant’s Summer Menu before it’s gone. Try items like the Grilled Summer Squash Salad, Tenderloin Steak Sandwich or the California Rice Bowl. Dine-in to support those in need, Tuesday, September 5-Sunday, September 10 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on week days and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday. The restaurant is open for brunch and lunch on Sunday, 10 a.m.-3p.m.
