After a year like no other, it would be reasonable for us to look back at the many hurdles and struggles that we faced personally and as a team. However, spring’s arrival has brought with it a promise of brighter days ahead and has shown us that the future is filled with optimism…optimism for those fighting the virus, optimism because so many are willing to get the vaccine and optimism that our fellow citizens are craving a return to a more ‘normal’ way of life. This renewed outlook gives me confidence that our community has evolved with these trying times. It confirms that we are all ready to move forward with a continued focus on creating opportunities that not only maintain safety, but also focus on equality and inclusion. Together, I know our community will come through stronger and ready to embrace the changes the future will bring.
Our team at Butler’s Pantry has been working hard to fill the spring calendar with exciting happenings. First, we are bringing back our ever-popular Picnics in the Park! Starting on April 22 in Tower Grove Park, this series will continue every Thursday night through May 27. With every meal purchased, Butler’s Pantry will donate $5 to the park to support their mission of providing the community with safe recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities. Next on the calendar is Mother’s Day! Our brunch menu is available for pre-order now and is the perfect way to spoil mom with a delicious meal for all to enjoy in her honor! This, along with our Entertaining Now offerings, include inspired cuisine designed so smaller gatherings can enjoy the best of the season.
The coming months will also be filled with many impactful non-profit fundraisers, plenty of outdoor entertaining, celebratory graduations, intimate home parties and the highly anticipated return of corporate entertaining. As we look ahead to this fall, we are eager to solidify plans for everyone’s favorite family tradition: The Great forest Park Balloon Race. And we are delighted to announce our participation as a catering and hospitality partner for the Ascension Charity Golf Classic events, slated for September.
Before we tackle this next season – and our next chapter – I want you to know that regardless of what or how you are celebrating, we will still take every precaution possible (recommended per local, state and CDC guidelines) so that our guests and team members are kept safe. Our daily processes continue to evolve with the times and we will be making real-time updates to our website with any new information. Afterall, evolving and innovating is paramount as we make good on our promise to give you and your guests “every reason to celebrate”. We are committed to doing this with health and safety in mind.
Until we meet again, let’s all take a deep breath. Let’s be sure to take time to enjoy the little things; making sure to take in the blooming of the trees, the sprouting of flowers and all of the other beautiful signs of new life and renewed hope.
All The BEST- Rick
