Referred to as the “jewel” of Forest Park, the Jewel Box was built by the city of St. Louis in 1936 & fully renovated in 2002, creating a modern, open-floor plan flooded with natural light. The permanent floral displays are supplemented throughout the year with seasonal flowers from the city’s greenhouses. With its unconventional, cantilevered glass walls rising 50 feet high, this picturesque art deco greenhouse is a St. Louis treasure!
