For the fourth consecutive year Butler’s Pantry and the Rebel Florist partnered to create a distinctive place setting for the annual St. Louis Children’s Hospital Tabletop Event. Joining more than 50 of St. Louis’ premium vendors, Butler’s Pantry transformed tables at the Ritz Carlton Hotel into an ancient atmosphere, drawing inspiration from the Missour History Museum’s upcoming exhibit “Mammoths and Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age.”
A pair of four foot centerpieces accented with orange and purple flowers, luscious green foliage, smooth rocks, Himalayan sea-salt candles, and driftwood of various sizes adorned the table. White linens draped the seating space creating structures reminiscent of the frame of pre-historic creatures.
Each place setting included a magnifying glass and shadow box with genuine fossils, live plants, and information on the ancient artifacts. Guests dined from wooden flatware and amber glasses, while using utensils with wooden handles; handmade napkins completed the archaic atmosphere.
As in the past, this year’s event was held on April and raised more than $100,000.
