As you may know, St. Louis knows how to celebrate Mardi Gras; and what better company to celebrate with than Mayor Slay. Butler’s Pantry was fortunate enough to cater the Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball for the fifth year in a row. We created a fun-filled menu for the Mayor’s 800 guests which included food stations to represent many of the cultures that comprise the rich heritage of St. Louis. Guests donned masks, beads and feathers and drank traditional Hurricanes and a special “Mayortinis” lit with neon to celebrate the night.
On November 7th we inaugurated Palladium Saint Louis into the elite event scene of St. Louis with a fabulous celebration of Landmarks Association's 50th Anniversary. What an incredible event! We commemorated the event with an official ribbon cutting by Mayor Slay, followed by rooftop fireworks. As the 380 guests entered the newly renovated space they were greeted with classic cocktails, champagne & passed hors d'oeuvres. The amber glow of LED lighting, hundreds of candles, lush floral arrangements, and the sounds of a sixteen piece jazz band set the scene for an elegant evening. The meal began with a Crayfish and Edamame Amuse Bouche, and three course later, concluded with a signature Palladium Saint Louis Chocolate Torte. We look forward to many more excited events in this landmark venue!
On September 19, 2009, we had the privilege of catering a private 50th birthday celebration for one of our clients. The stylish, Tuscan themed, affair took place in the sprawling back yard of the client's home. Upon arrival, 250 guests were greeted with an olive oil tasting and a lavish cheese & tapenade display. After they sampled wines with the personal Sommelier, they moved through the pool house and down to the beautifully appointed clear top tent where they dined on a variety of candle-lit dinner stations. From farm-fresh salads, to prepared-to-order creamy polenta, to Mediterranean grilled shrimp, and finally to petite butler passed kobe burgers and truffle fries. Partygoers also enjoyed flights of mini martinis and an entire custom-built confectionary shop before the evening's conclusion.

On April 10, 2008 the St. Louis Business Journal held a special awards dinner at the Pageant. This ceremony was to honor the 100 Best Places to Work in St. Louis. Brightly colored linens, puzzles, games and candy decorated the tables. The fun, kid-like décor & centerpieces gave way to a creative and delicious three course seated dinner for 300 guests. Overall it was a successful event and the guests had a truly memorable experience.
Butler’s Pantry was honored to host the grand opening of The Container Store at Brentwood Square in March, 2007. To cap of the night guests devoured the fanciful dessert displays and warm cookies with milk.
On April 4, 2007, the Williams-Sonoma Home store celebrated its recent grand opening in conjunction with raising money for St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
